Our Morel Habitat Kit®

Firstly, we include organic Morel spawn(seed) which contains our unique morel strains and will allow you to seed a back yard Morel Habitat that may produce pounds of morels over the years in a properly maintained four foot by four-foot area.

Secondly, the Morel Habitat Kit® contains living morel fungus in a block of morel mushroom spawn (body).

Thirdly, typically, only a few pounds of morel mushrooms are found the first spring your Morel Habitat produces. After that the next year typically provides the best crops, and crop sizes tend to vary in subsequent years. Time from establishing the Morel Habitat until fruiting varies from 6 months to 2 years.
